Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Workers Comp Settlement, including its calculators, state guides, charts, blog posts, and related pages at workerscompsettlement.com. The site provides general workers compensation research and planning tools. It is not a law firm, insurer, claims administrator, medical provider, or government agency.

Information you enter

The calculator runs in your browser. Values such as wages, weeks off work, benefit rates, impairment ratings, and medical estimates are used to calculate and display an estimate on your device. The calculator does not require an account and does not send those values to our server as part of the calculation.

Please do not enter a name, claim number, Social Security number, medical record, or other information that identifies you or another person. A calculator result is not a secure place to store claim information.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, the hosting, content delivery, security, and measurement services used by the site may process technical information such as an IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, approximate location, timestamps, and error or security events. We use this information, where available, to deliver pages, keep the site secure, understand aggregate usage, and diagnose problems.
